Telling My Story...

First and foremost, I give all glory and honor to Jesus Christ, because without Him, I truly do not know where I would be. Every opportunity, every lesson, every setback, and every victory has been part of His plan for my life. This platform is a testament to God's faithfulness and a reflection of the gifts He has entrusted me to share with others.

Like many people, I have experienced seasons of uncertainty. After unexpectedly losing my job, I found myself asking questions that so many of us ask during difficult times: What's next? Where do I go from here? For a while, I simply did not know.

Looking back, I now realize that what felt like a lesson was actually a season of preparation. During the time I was without work, I was given something I had not had in years: time. Time to write the books that had been living in my heart, build the businesses I had dreamed about, strengthen my personal brand,  The Tekila Way, and  to create resources designed to educate, encourage, and inspire others. What once felt like a closed door became an opportunity to walk through several new ones.

Education has always been an important part of my journey. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts with a concentration in Organizational Leadership from Florida International University, graduating Magna Cum Laude. I also hold a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Sciences with a concentration in Aviation Administration from Polk State College. My passion for learning continues as I pursue a Master of Science in Aviation Management at Florida Institute of Technology. I graduate on 05/08/27.

Professionally, I have built my career across aviation (hence my play on the acronym F.L.Y.: First Love Yourself), leadership, operations, customer experience, and entrepreneurship. From managing airline operations and leading teams to launching businesses and creating educational resources, I have always believed that success comes from serving others with excellence, integrity, and purpose.

Entrepreneurship has allowed me to combine my professional experience with my creativity. Whether I am writing books, consulting, speaking, creating educational content, curating products, planning events, or building new ventures, my goal remains the same: to use the knowledge and experiences God has given me to help others learn, grow, and succeed.

The Tekila Way was created as the home for all of those passions and desires of my heart. It brings together my books, businesses, services, social platforms, and creative projects into one place where I can continue sharing what I've learned throughout my journey.
